Air-Weigh said truck buyers will soon be able to spec its full-function on-board truck scale instead of the air suspension gauges that operators have used to estimate axle weight.

In a standard two-inch package, the model AW5801 truck scale will feature a keypad and 3-line LCD display screen. The company said it will fit into the standard two-inch dash hole and gauge clusters.

It will be available in bezels and backlighting to match each truck manufacturer's specifications. The new truck scale is fully compatible with all AW5700 and AW5800 trailer scales.
