Diesel Rises 1 Cent

National diesel prices saw a 1-cent rise to $1.754 per gallon, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said Monday. Dow Jones Newswires reported that the cost of crude oil went up recently.

The West Coast was the only region that posted a price drop, down 0.2 cents to $2.031 per gallon. Gulf Coast prices rose the highest, up 1.7 cents to $1.691 per gallon. California remains the most expensive region to fill up, at $2.107 per gallon, while the Lower Atlantic is the cheapest, at $1.689 per gallon.
