G.I. Trucking expands Jun 27, 2003 12:00 PM G.I. Trucking Co. said that the recent acquisition of 40 new tractors and 460 trailers brings its company fleet size to 575 tractors and 2,900 trailers. Earlier in the year, G.I. Trucking reported about a 20% increase in annual shipments. The company said its fleet operations have been targeted to meet such growth.
According to Stan Lovell, vp for maintenance and safety, the company is investing approximately $8,000,000 in the new equipment.
