Peterbilt Motors Co. debuted the polished-aluminum-and-chrome special edition truck during the Mid-America Trucking Show. Buyers can now visit Peterbilt dealerships, custom spec their Model 379X and reserve its spot on the production line which will be rolling this fall.

The Model 379X features unique styling and exclusive design elements that incorporate the polished aluminum-on-chrome themes throughout the truck's interior and exterior.

Exterior features include polished aluminum fenders, polished aluminum centerline hood trim, punched "Peterbilt oval" grille and air cleaner intake screen, polished aluminum grille bars, and seven-inch chromed exhaust stacks.

The Model 379X is equipped with a 70-in. Unibilt UltraCab sleeper, which feature brushed aluminum dash panels, coordinating brushed aluminum cab and sleeper trim, a stylized, four-spoke, "X-style" steering wheel and custom leather UltraRide seats with an embroidered logo.
