Peterbilt unveils owner-operator 379X

Peterbilt Motors Co. has introduced a special edition of its Model 379 Class 8 tractor called the 379X, a 70-in. sleeper model designed specifically appeal for owner-operators.
The 379X features a variety of exterior aluminum and chrome styling accents, including polished aluminum fenders, oval-pattern grille, centerline hood accent, plus brushed aluminum dash and sleeper trim. The 379X also has seven-inch chromed exhaust stacks LED auxiliary lighting for the cab, sleeper, air cleaner and rear light-bar assembly.
Peterbilt said full production of the 379X begins in September.
