Prime, P.A.M. go with Transflo By Sean Kilcarr Mar 7, 2003 12:00 PM Refrigerated carrier Prime Inc. and truckload operator P.A.M. Transportation Services are the latest fleets to adopt Transflo Express, a document scanning service developed by Pegasus TransTech. Tampa, FL-based Pegasus said its Transflo system helps carriers speed up cash flow and reduce by providing affordable in-house and outsourced imaging systems to streamline billing, collections, payroll, driver qualifications and other paper-intensive processes. Fleets can use either Transflo, a complete in-house system, or Transflo ASP, an outsourced service, in conjunction with Transflo Express, a document scanning service available at 236 truckstops.
Transflo Express allows truck drivers to hand their documents to a truckstop's fuel desk attendant for scanning. In seconds, these documents are delivered electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing. All fleets, regardless of size, can receive trip documents via Transflo Express, said Pegasus.
