Springfield, MO-based Prime Trucking Co. has agreed to buy bankrupt carrier Rocor International. The purchase will include the Oklahoma City-based carrier's 850 trucks, 1,100 trailers and its business relationships.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Prime president Robert Low said the purchase will further enhance the refrigerated carrier's core capabilities.

"The additional capacity of another 850 trucks plus the staff and driver base already in place to support them is good news for our customers throughout North America," Low said.

Rocor will become the RTC division of Prime Inc. and will operate out of its existing Oklahoma City terminal, which will be leased by Prime as part of the purchase agreement.

Prime has a fleet of about 2,500 trucks operated by independent contractors.
