U-Haul selling 10,000 trucks By Tim Parry Jun 10, 2002 12:00 PM The introduction of a new fleet of trucks and vans has resulted in U-Haul selling off 10,000 of its off-rental vehicles to the public between now and March 31. The targeted market is small business owners. "The trucks are out of the rental market and are available to create value for businesses in need of carpeting trucks, roofing trucks and landscaping trucks, just about any after market use you'd care to name," said John J.T. Taylor, executive vp of marketing for U-Haul International Inc.
Units will be sold nationwide on a first come, first served basis.
