Wabash receives additional orders from Schneider

Wabash National Corp. announced today it has received additional orders from Schneider National for its proprietary 53-ft. DuraPlate HD trailer, bringing Schneider's 2003 trailer purchases to over $100 million.
Wabash CEO Bill Greubel said the additional orders might signal an economic turnaround is underway for the trucking industry.
"We believe that this order increase is an illustration that the trucking industry, as a whole, is beginning its recovery," Greubel said.
