The C-TPAT and PIP programs are part of the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) initiative jointly developed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection and the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency.

As a member, Werner agrees to work with the governmental agencies to ensure safer borders to reduce the threat of terrorism within North America.

The FAST program will allow importers on the U.S./Canada border to obtain expedited release for qualifying commercial shipments.
