Independent contractors leased to Landstar System Inc. are eligible for a $1,000 rebate on new Kenworth sleeper models purchased during 2006. An extension of a rebate offering begun last year, it covers KW T600, T800 and W900 models with 72-in. AeroCab or 86-in. Studio AeroCab sleepers, as well as the T2000 with 75-in. Aerodyne sleeper.

Under the program, leased independents negotiate purchase agreements with the Kenworth dealer of their choice and then send rebate paperwork to Landstar’s Contractors Advantage Purchase Program department. Once confirmed eligible for the program by Landstar, contractors will receive the rebate check directly from Kenworth.
