TA deal improves driver convenience

Oct 26, 2006 12:24 PM

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (ACS) has agreed to an expanded contract with Travel Centers of America (TA) to provide TripPak scanning stations. Under the agreement, TripPak Services has converted 70 of their 159 TripPak scanning stations to “multi-service units” for drivers.

The scanning stations allow drivers to send scanned documents to companies and receive confirmation.

“With both self-service and cashier-assisted units, drivers don’t have to wait behind fuel transactions, nor do drivers waiting on fuel transactions have to wait behind scanning customers,” said Bob Mahoney, TA non-fuel programs manager.
